I am a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy at UNC–Chapel Hill.
I work primarily in the philosophy of science and related areas of metaphysics and epistemology. My research focuses on explanation, especially questions about explanatory aptness and abstraction, as well as the autonomy of the special sciences.
